March is our Birthday Month and we would normally be throwing a big party with treats and fun yarns to share but since we’re all trying our best to stay home and flatten the curve right now, we decided to have a little celebration in our Online Shop! We’ve got some fun things planned and some great discounts and here’s how it will all work.
For the next seven days, we’re choosing one of the indie dyers we carry to feature for the day and offer a 17% discount on all their products in our online shop – but just for that one day! The products will swap out every morning at 8 am (PST) so be sure to check back every morning. In addition to our Birthday Sale, we’ve added ALL 4 of the bases we have from Anzula for our trunk show into the online shop. The bases include three in fingering weight: Lunaris, Haiku & Dottie plus a wonderful worsted weight called For Better or Worsted. We have 9-10 colors in each base with limited stock so we recommend you shop the Truck Show early for the best selection.
Dottie – A fingering weight yarn with 420 yards per skein and a robust tweed. This blend of 80% Merino, 17% Acrylic, and 3% Polyester is going to be hard to put down as you create an amazing fabric with it.

Lunaris – Cashmere and sparkles? and 425 yards per skein? Yes, Please. With 80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, and 10% Stellina this fingering weight yarn is amazingly soft with fun shiny sparkles.

Haiku – We’re bringing back this fingering weight yarn which we used to have in our Truck stock and are excited to share it with you again! With it’s blend of 70% Merino, 20% Rayon from Bamboo, and 10% Nylon this yarn a lovely sheen and also strength making it great for hard-wearing projects. At 425 yards per skein, you have lots of options for your projects!

For Better or Worsted – A Versatile and incredibly soft worsted weight yarn in a blend of 80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere, you are going to want to make something to snuggle up in with its 200 yards per skein.

We worked with Anzula to create a special exclusive colorway called Ocean Palms for the LA Yarn Crawl but since the crawl is postponed, we’re now selling this beautiful new color in our online shop. Ocean Palms in on their Dottie base, a fingering weight with 80% Merino, 17% Acrylic & 3% Polyester in a 114-gram skein with 420 yards. This exclusive color is $35 per skein.
This colorway was inspired by this beautiful shot along one of our favorite California beaches. Didn’t Anzula do a great job in turning this image into a fun yarn color!
We only have a limited number of skeins so when this color is sold out it will be gone so grab Ocean Palms while you can.
We’d also planned to offer Squishy & Cricket as our Featured yarns for the Yarn Crawl so we’ve decided to offer both of these yummy bases at a 10% discount during all four days of our 7th Birthday sale. You can see all the colors, and we also added a few extras, by clicking on Sale 10% in the top right menu on every page in the online shop.
We also had two newly designed pieces created using these two yarns and we were going to hand them these out as our Free Patterns during the crawl. Since we’re putting the yarns on sale, we wanted to also offer these two patterns for Free for a short time. This way you’ll have some fun new projects to make when you grab these yarns at the 10% discount.

I know this isn’t the same as coming to visit the Truck and help us celebrate our birthday or stopping by the Truck during the LA Yarn Crawl but I hope this will still be fun!
