SNYC4 – Color #5 Enola Holmes

Enola Holmes

The fifth color in Year 4 of the Yarnover Truck’s Super Nerdy Yarn Club is based on the character of Enola Holmes.

EnolaHolmesInspiration

Enola Holmes is the youngest sibling of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.  She was the starring character in her own, very enjoyable film Enola Holmes, available on Netflix.

Enola is extremely intelligent, observant, and insightful, defying the social norms for women of the time. Her mother, Eudoria, has taught her everything from chess to jujitsu and encouraged her to be strong-willed and to think independently. These are all the qualities and things we love about her and why we felt she needed to be included in our club, showcasing strong female characters!  Plus, a sequel film is in the works, and we can’t wait to watch it!

Leann, from Forbidden Fiber Co., used the many colors included in our feature image for inspiration for this beautiful and fun colorway!  We hope you like it as much as we do!

Here are all the different yarn images to help you see how it will look unwound and worked up. You’ll see it in a skein, in a pile and wound into a ball. Plus, there are images of several swatches, in both knit and crochet. These images show the color in the Pride base, so you’ll notice they all have just a hint of sparkle! We hope that these images will give you a sense of how the color will look worked into a project.
