SD Yarn Crawl with Needlecraft Cottage
It’s Back! The San Diego Yarn Crawl is back and holding the 2021 event through Thursday, September 9th through Sunday, September 12th! We missed seeing all our fiber friends in San Diego County last year and hope you’ll consider coming out to join in the fun of a weekend exploration of 6 yarn shops, 2 alpaca farms, and one amazing yarn Truck!
We’ve got lots of great things planned and hope you’ll come to find us as you’re crawling across the County! We’ll have a Yarn Truck Show with local-to-San-Diego’s dyers Oink Pigments. It will include 10 different colors on Targhee Sock, Jewls, Disco & Mystic DK plus, we’re working on a special show colorway (details will come out closer to the Crawl)!
Our Feature Yarns for the Crawl are Gluttony Sock & Pride from Forbidden Fiber Co., and all colors on both bases will be discounted by 10% all weekend. These yarns were used to create our free patterns! We’re giving away a new knit design from Jonelle Schulz and a new crochet design from our own Maridee Dangcil to everyone who visits the Truck! Plus, we’ll have daily prize giveaways and a Crawl Gift Basket to hand out at the end to one of the lucky crawlers who leave their completed passport with us!
We like to partner with other yarn shops during the Crawl, and this year we are doing the same. Here are the shops we will be visiting during the four days of the crawl.

Please Note: We are continuing to require everyone shopping on the Truck to please wear a mask and use hand sanitizer (provided by us) as you enter the Truck. We’re also limiting the number of shoppers on the Truck to 2 people, or one household, at a time.
