Indie Dyer Showcase - Inner Yarn Zen

Our newest Indie Dyer Showcase from Inner Yarn Zen for July & August is on the Truck! The mother-daughter duo of Marietta and Heather are the creative force behind this hand-dyed fiber company. With a strong belief in finding joy in what you are making, Inner Yarn Zen dyes yarn and fiber in beautiful Idaho (formerly from Southern California) as a way to interpret the beauty in nature, balanced with reflection, and a bit of heart within each color. Working with fiber and yarn can be that peaceful moment when you get to be by yourself to indulge and find your inner balance.

Marietta & Heather take their inspiration from so many different places – it spans from Nature, Nasa space photos, and even from some of your favorite fandoms. They are working to expand their business to be at shows across the nation. Since they used to be based in SoCal, you may be familiar with their work plus if you visited Camp Yarnover Truck at Stitches West in 2016 & 2017 you definitely saw their beautiful yarns. We are super excited to have them back on the Truck showing off their newest colors!

Inner Yarn Zen has sent us 4 bases for this showcase. We have 3 different fingering weights and one DK. The three fingering are Duality, Elegance, and Simply Gradients. Here are the details of each base, plus photos of all the colors we have.

Duality – The best of both worlds, the tight twist of superwash wool with the strength of added nylon in a skein with 460 yards. ($27)

Simply Gradients – Who doesn’t love a good gradient? We sure do! These 460-yard skeins of awesomeness are going to make you giddy. A blend of wool and nylon, your projects are going to look amazing and wear well! ($38)
