The Show Continues . . . .
Great news! Our friends at Oink Pigments are letting us keep the Yarn Trunk Show we had on the Truck for the San Diego Yarn Crawl until the end of September! This means you still have the opportunity to get some of these beautiful colors, even if you can’t make it to the Truck!
We won’t be adding these to our Online Shop, but instead here are photos of each base, along with details including fiber content, yardage, and cost. Plus we’ve included all the color names too. Once you know what you want to order, send an email to info@yarnovertruck.com and we’ll work with you to determine your order total, send out an invoice and get the yarns prepped to send off! It’s that easy!!
Our feature wall inside the Truck is filled with 4 beautiful bases in a variety of different colors from Oink Pigments. Keep reading for all the details! The order of the bases here matches the order in the picture above.
Targhee Sock, along the top row, is the workhorse fingering yarn with 400 yards of 90% Superwash Targhee and 10% Nylon. Each skein costs $30.
The colors here are (across the top from left to right) Bunny Slippers, Stupid Cupid, Super Dope Heliotrope, Simply the Zest & Mint to Be. The bottom two on the left are Space Rocks & Big Eggplant Energy, and on the right are The Silver Lining & Sex & Violets. Please note we have sold out of the Simply The Zest color already.
Next up is Disco, the sparkle base. It’s a fingering weight base with 405 yards of 92% Superwash Merino and 8% Lurex Sparkle. Each of these skeins cost $32.
The colors here (top row, left to right) Raspberet, Ovary Action, Raisins on a Cake, Standing Ovulation & Paul Yarnovers and (bottom row, left to right) The Emperor’s New Sweater, Thunderbolt & Lightning, A-maize-ing, Aubrey Jean & Nothing Rhymes with Orange.
The third row of yarns is the Jewls base. It’s a unique blend of 60% Superwash Merino with 30% Bamboo and 10% Nylon, giving you 430 yards of amazing drape and sheen on this fingering weight yarn. These skeins are $31 each.
The colors here (on the left side from top to bottom) are Random Carp, Birthday Suit, Simply The Zest, On Pointe & Blackberry Brambles. On the right side (from top to bottom) are Cloud Surfing, Poison Apple, Peridon’t, Smoky Purl & Big Eggplant Energy. You’ll notice the colors on this base are a bit muted. This base takes dye differently due to its plant fiber (Bamboo) content.
The final base in this beautiful Trunk Show is Mystic, a DK weight with 230 yards of 100% Extra Fine Superwash Merino in each skein. These are $29 each.
The colors (on the left from top to bottom) are Dijon Vu, Sage Against The Machine, Merci Bouquet, Pigs Just Wanna Have Fun & Gecko Meadow. On the right side (from top to bottom) we have In The Navy, Thunderbolt & Lightning, Stitch Swatches and Do Gauge Measurements, Spun Sugar & Hibiscus Kiss.

This is the Addition by Subtraction by TryStitchual Designs. This was made using 4 different colors of Targhee Sock: Sex & Violets, Bunny Slippers, Super Dope Heliotrope & The Silver Lining. This piece is just stunning in person!
Here is Brioche for Beginners by by Jamie Galati. It’s super soft and squishy made using Jewls in Birthday Suit & Blackberry Brambles.
Another gorgeousness piece using Jewls is the Whistler Shawl by Rachy Newin! This crochet lace piece is made using 2 skeins of Cloud Surfing on this yummy base!
This fantastic 3 color cowl is called the Don’t Stop Me Now Cowl by Krista Ann. This uses 1 skein of Disco in the Raspberet colorway, along with 2 skein of Jewl in On Pointe & Big Eggplant Energy!
These yarns will ONLY be with us until Thursday, September 30th! They get packed up and given back on that Friday! Be sure to get your orders in to us by the deadline to get your hands on these beautiful skeins!
