Knit and Crochet with CoBaSi

It’s getting hot so it’s time to start using CoBaSi by HiKoo from Skacel.  A cotton, bamboo and silk blend fingering weight yarn that also has a generous amount of elastic nylon. This yarn is perfect for warm weather pieces, and wonderful for socks for those who can’t wear wool. The resulting fabric is soft and machine washable and would also work great for baby garments.

Here are some of the patterns we think CoBaSi would be perfect for:

Ridgely by Michelle Hunter is a fabulous lightweight shawl that is perfect for the summer!

There are so many color combos to choose from for this sweet little shawl!
We think it would look amazing in Violette and White!

Pretty Enough Pullover by Alexander Nicholas CoBaSi is the perfect yarn for this innovative design. Knit in two parts from either sleeve across the front and back, and seamed together to create a mesh-like top with plenty of ease. You could easily switch to a larger needle to change the gauge and final size of the garment, and with so many color options in CoBaSi, you can truly make this quick-knit to fit your own style.

For a pop of summer color this top would look great in Raffi and Ripe Raspberry!!

Rowena’s Wristlets by Benjamin Krudwig Inspired by the clever, intellectual, and slightly mysterious Rowena Ravenclaw, these elegant wristlets add a magical flair to any outfit as you thumb through ancient spell-books. Made using a single skein of CoBaSi, this pair of fingerless mitts will crochet up in a flash (no magic required.) Add your favorite buttons for a final flourish.
