One of our favorite yarns for babies, kids, and well every project is Ewe So Sporty from Ewe Ewe Yarns.  This soft, bouncy, colorful, and of course, machine washable yarn is perfect for both knitting and crochet.  You can use it to make accessories, garments and especially baby things since you can toss them in the washer without worrying about shrinking!

Yardage – 145 yards (133 meters)
Unit weight – 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
Gauge – 26.0 sts = 4 inch
Needle size – US 4 or 3.5
Fibers – 100% Superwash Merino
