Knit and Crochet with CoBaSi Plus

With Summer on the way you probably think worsted weight yarn is out of the question – but Summer is when we reach for CoBaSi Plus.  The mix of Cotton, Bamboo, Silk, and Elastic in a worsted weight make this yarn a quick but lightweight yarn.  It’s rare to find a worsted weight we can actually wear here in SoCal and CoBaSi Plus is our favorite! It feels like you are working with wool, the elastic gives it a good amount of give so it isn’t hard on your hands like regular cotton. CoBaSi Plus is one of our favorite sweater yarns and perfect to for those cool summer nights on the beach.

This would be super cute in a bright pop of color like Framboise or any of the other neutrals on the Truck!
Kram Cardi by Katy Petersen – This beautiful crocheted cardi would work up super fast in CoBaSi Plus!  It’s a simple piece that would be a stunning staple of your wardrobe.

How beautiful would this cardi be in the Seattle Sky? It would go with almost anything!

Our favorite CoBaSi Plus sample on the Truck is the Spruce Point Cardigan by the lovely Amy Herzog.  Amy designed this for our Stitches West Camp Yarnover Truck.  Maridee wears it all the time and it has become a staple of her wardrobe. It’s perfect for a the cooler evenings but not too warm that she melts in it.

Liy by Lee Meredith is the squishiest shawl out there! Our sample on the Truck is done in Cobasi Plus – it’s so squishy but also super light and you don’t overheat in it.  It’s one of our new favorite patterns!

We love this shawl in the Olive and Grape Jelly but think it would look amazing in the Black & Seattle Sky!
