The final 4 stops on our spotlight series are the Central Valley Stores on our Road Trip! We are so thrilled to be partnering with some amazing stores but also the fabulous indie-dyer Anzula! Check out what sort of fun you can find at each of these stops:
Knitique – Tuesday May 12th 10:30am-6pm
What makes your store special? We are a yarn boutique that has a wide variety of yarns to fit every budget. We offer a huge teaching schedule, and love to bring in new people to learn how to knit and crochet. Classes are only $12.50/hour and private lessons are $25.00/hour.
We are a full service boutique, which offer products, we can be hired to knit or crochet something for you, blocking and finishing services. We even knit custom socks. If you’ve got a variety of sock yarn in your stash, bring it in and get some custom-made socks just for you.
We are a friendly boutique, we offer help when you need it. We have a very experienced staff, with 20 years average of experience. No matter what your question is, we are sure to be able to help. You are welcome to join us any time the shop is open to sit and relax in this friendly atmosphere.
Shipments arrive daily so our stock is continually changing. We even do special orders.

Do you have anything special planned for the Yarnover Truck visit? We will be having several trunk shows as well as special merchandise, and we will be featuring our Yearlong Event, Year of the Sheep, special designs and yarn for the Chinese New Year.
What yarns can customers find in your shop? We like to carry a full range of yarn. We carry Cascade, Classic Elite, Crystal Palace, Berocco, Big Bad Wool, and many many others. What we are known for is finding the smaller USA companies and bringing in their yarns. We current carry The Yarns of Richard Devrieze, Anzula, Sweet Georgia, Lady Bug Fiber, Spincycle Yarns, Lorna Laces, Mrs. Crosby, Dream in Color and many others.
What is your favorite things to knit or crochet? I like cardigans. But I like to design accessories. You will be able to see lots of our own patterns sampled at our boutique.

Knitters Square – Friday May 15th 12pm-8pm
What makes your store special? We have a great group of people that come and knit or crochet at our shop everyday. There is always a great story being told. We have great prices and lots of yarn to see.
What is your favorite yarn? What ever I have on my needles at the time. 🙂
What is your favorite place to eat in your area? There are many places to eats in our shopping center.
(Barbra’s favorite hometown restaurants are: El Rosal, Velvet Creamery, P.Wexfords, and the Village Baking Co.)
What yarns can customers find in your shop? We carry madelinetosh, malabrigo, cascade, berrocco, plymouth, baa, knit one crochet two, zen, alchemy lots of lace, sock, fingering, dk, sport, worsted, bulky and chunky.
What is your favorite things to knit or crochet? We don’t really have a favorite. Love everything!!

Anzula– Saturday May 16th 10am-2pm (UPDATED TIME)
What makes your store special? We dye the yarn! We will have the front portion of the factory open. Customers will be able to see the drying and re-skeining rooms.
What is your favorite yarn? Did I say Anzula? But probably Cricket. Or maybe Dreamy. Nebula? Or is it Oasis?
What is your favorite place to eat in your area? La Elegante. Best. Tacos. Ever. We also really like Salaam Seafood, they have fried chicken strips too.
Do you have anything special planned for the Yarnover Truck visit? This is the first time we will have ever opened our factory space to the public in this way. We are really excited to see everyone.
What yarns can customers find in your shop? Anzula! All the Anzula!
What is your favorite things to knit or crochet? Team Anzula knits a lot of stuff, hats, shawls, sweaters, cowls (lots of cowls), fingerless gloves. We mostly knit, but we do love crochet and there are a couple of us who do so.
