The Yarnover Truck is hitting the road and heading down to the San Diego area for Memorial Day Weekend. We have two days of wine and yarn tasting planned with two local yarn companies and two local vineyards.
On Saturday we will be at the Orfila Winery in Escondido 1-5pm. Their address is 13455 San Pasqual Road, Escondido, CA 92025. Their tasting room is open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm offering tastings where you can enjoy six (6) different wines of your choice for just $10.00 per person. Plus, one free logo glass to take home with you is included with a paid wine tasting!
On Sunday, the truck will be moving on to the Oak Mountain Winery in Temecula May 26th from 1-5pm. Their address is 36522 Via Verde, Temecula, CA. 92592 and the winery is open from 11:00am – 5:00pm daily. They offer tastings for $15 for 6 wines. In addition to visiting their tasting room, you can also enjoy some live music every weekend in their Pavilion. Mike McGill will be playing while we are there on Sunday!
Both days, the Yarnover Truck will be featuring trunk shows of Baah Yarns from Oceanside, CA and Ewe Ewe Yarns from San Diego. You will have the chance to “taste” the beautiful yarns from both of these great local companies. We will have several skeins of each to play with and try both knitted and crocheted stitches.
The truck will also be showcasing art from Seasoned Pallets with us at both locations! Jen does amazing pieces out of recycled pallets and is working on some special yarn related pieces!!! We can’t wait to see them!
We are so looking forward to meeting some new people, tasting some new wines, playing with amazing yarn and just having a wonderful holiday weekend! We sure hope you can join us!
Temecula is in Riverside county and not in San Diego county.
